3 Jets 'Pink Beat'

Jimmy Edgar and Machinedrum? Now that's what we call a pairing. After last year's funk-swinging 'Midas Touch' (if you haven't heard it, it's fucking great), the two linked up again for 'The Chants' EP on Edgar's Ultramajic imprint. 'Pink Beats' is full of colour and whizz and doesn't fail to dazzle with every listen.

2 Tensnake 'The Walk'

After last year's debut album 'Glow' and gracing a Mixmag cover with the one and only Nile Rodgers, Marco Niemerski's set to drop his first release of 2015. The 'Keep On Talking' EP features 'The Walk' and, put it this way, if you were powering down the road with this playing through your headphones, that walk of yours would be full of swagger.

1 Vaults 'Lifespan' (Spor remix)

After dominating festival stages worldwide as Feed Me, Jon Gooch returned to drum 'n' bass alias Spor earlier this year after a three-year hiatus. First he remixed The Prodigy, swiftly followed by debut album 'Caligo' on his Sotto Voce label. Most recently, though, he got his hands on 'Lifespan' by London trio Vaults. What we get is a chronic dose of shredding d'n'b.
