Nightlife brand and record label Glitterbox are debuting a new documentary 'Where Love Lives'

Nightlife brand and record label Glitterbox are debuting a new documentary ‘Where Love Lives’ next week.

On March 18 2021 at 8pm, the film will be debuted on Youtube. It will be preceded by sets from some of Glitterbox’s own DJs, and will be followed by a virtual afterparty.

‘Where Love Lives’ is a testament to the power and community of nightlife culture for those who are commonly marginalised by society. Featuring Glitterbox ambassadors Lucy Fizz, TeTe Bang and The Mx Fit speaking about their personal stories of their lives in nightlife, the documentary will also feature contributions from nightlife mainstays like Billy Porter, Honey Dijon, Kathy Sledge, Kiddy Smile, John ‘Jellybean’ Benitez, Kae Burke of the House Of Yes, Fiorious and more.

The film’s director Brilliams has commented on his intentions for the film: “I’ve always been fascinated by the positive effects of music and the communities that grow around it. Since the inception of dance music, dancefloors have been rich ground for community, and an incredible representation of cultural identity and self-expression. Everyone hsa their own journey to the dancefloor and their own voyage of self-expression to navigate. Through the stories of the kaleidoscopic family of performers that give Glitterbox its heart and soul, we set out to show why those journeys are so incredibly important.”

You can set a Youtube reminder here to watch the film as it premieres next week. Watch the trailer below.
