DRS

An artist the genre should savour, DRS the gravelly dance host is now indivisible from DRS the top-flight production curator. As well as a magnificent vocal project from one of the UK's top wordsmiths, album 2 is also a corking compilation of d'n'b transcending grooves. Toddla T and Addison Groove star alongside 10-tonne half-time from Skeptical, a stone-cold corker edged with Full Cycle bounciness from Die, blissed-out glitchery from Lynx, hearty dubwise melodica from Intalex and loping tech steel with Chimpo, Skittles et al. Sandpaper in his throat, wisdom in his eyes and more than a little pain in his heart. It's the DRS.
