SKY BAR, NIDO TOWER - REVIEW

All eyes were on The Shard's launch last night, all 95 stories of North Europe's tallest building. But if you fancy some top-of-the-world views in London but don't want to fork out the £25 viewing fee it costs to look out of The Shard's window we've found an alternative.

The Sky Bar at Nido Tower is a two-minute walk from Liverpool Street station. On the 32nd floor you can drink bellinis and eat tapas for a fraction of the cost of some of London's other 'bars with a view' - and with the East London location it makes it a great meeting point before a big night in The Ditch.

When Mixmag popped in last night we were met with stunning views of the capital, where we spotted landmarks like The O2, The Olympic Stadium, Canary Wharf and The Shard. A DJ spins bar stuff and the tapas makes for a nice nibble.

A voucher from happli lets you get four bellinii cocktails plus six gourmet canapes for only £19. Normally that would cost you £78. Grab a voucher yourself here: http://www.happli.co.uk/deal/london/skyloungefourbellinicocktails6gourme...

There are more opulent bars in London, but for the location and the value, specifically if you do use the voucher, the Sky Bar is a novel East London starting point.
