Synthetic dance dictators SHM put the full stop on their paragraph in DJ history with this farewell 22-track mix. From the off they’ve developed one sound to an epic, stage-filling, rapper-career-saving climax, landing them a religious following – as seen at their final UK performance –and a wide base of critics, too. ‘Until Now’is in their signature stabby synth, Euro-friendly vocal format, around half the tracks being mash-ups, notably Aoki’s ‘Ladi Dadi’ meets Red Carpet’s ‘Alright’ and their own seminal ‘One’ vs ‘Florence’s ‘You Got The Love’. Unashamedly one-dimensional, this mix will continue to divide, but fans will love ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ and the euphoric rerub of Coldplay’s ‘Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall.’
