If you take the drummer from Beck, the bassist from Red Hot Chilli Peppers and the producer and singer from Radiohead, what do you get? You get Atoms For Peace, surely one of the most interesting super-groups of all time.

Thom Yorke’s vocals hypnotise on opening track ‘Before Your Very Eyes’ while Flea lays down his quintessential bass licks. ‘Default’ is an all-out electronic odyssey that uses gorgeous delays, reverbs and whirring synths to create a truly atmospheric song. ‘Ingenue’ hits you with a complex synth riff coupled with layers of Yorke’s smooth harmonies. ‘Unless’ takes things down a darker route, and closer ‘Amok’ finishes things off with a bang.

Producer Nigel Godrich has made of this a modern masterclass – and one that sets the bar for collaborations extremely high.
