As Aeroplane aficionados will attest, Vito’s ironically-monikered Chart Mixes on SoundCloud are as beguiling and brilliant as the monthly radio show on Belgian station Pure FM. And that’s where this mix CD comes in. It’s packed with 13 luxurious disco-pop nuggets that are at turns bonkers (‘Zero Ghosts Out The Door’ by Herr Styler), blissed out (‘Something You Can Feel’ by Stars On 33), on-point (Vito’s excellent Chromeo-esque newbie, ‘Save Me Now’) and just pure Balearic (‘Foolishness’ by Bxentric, ‘Memories Of The Future’ by Oliver). After the mis-step of ‘We Can’t Fly’ (there, we said it), Vito’s got his groove back.
