Trance superstar Tiesto has suggested that he may not take up an Ibiza residency next year.
As reported by inthemix, when talking to Grant Smillie at the Electronic Music Conference, Tiesto said: “Next year I’m not sure if I can do it, because it takes a lot out of me to play there from the end of May till the end of September.”
Tiesto has played at Privilege Ibiza for the past ten years. Rather than take up a new residency, the veteran of Trance may finally take a step back: "I’m probably not going to end up anywhere, maybe just a one-off show here and there."
The conference also allowed Tiesto to end recent speculation over a possible Deadmau5 collaboration: “Sometimes it just doesn’t happen. [Deadmau5 and I] made a track, it was okay, so we didn’t release it. But we Tweeted about it, so everyone was asking when it was coming. I don’t like to say that stuff anymore.”
