What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a racing cyclist. Good thing I ended up doing something else or I'd probably be retired by now.
What’s the worst club you’ve been to?
Pretty much all discotheques I went to in the 80s before I started going to house clubs were terrible - both design and music wise.
What’s been your worst job?
Sweeping the floors of a hairdresser's salon, more than 20 years ago.
What are you obsessed with right now?
Finishing my new album.
And what do you hate right now?
Being spammed with bad music and being pressured for feedback.
When and where were you your happiest?
I try to be as happy as possible all the time.
How do you describe what you do to someone who doesn’t know you?
Everyone knows what a dj is these days, I would leave it at that. Trying to describe what you play and how you do it sounds odd.
Have you ever been arrested?
Not arrested, but a few years back I was walking down the street when a van stopped next to me . Suddenly, a cop pulled me into the van because I looked like a person they were looking for. They drove almost a mile in the opposite direction until they figured they had the wrong person and let me go immediately, so I had to walk back all over again. They could have at least dropped me where they picked me up.

What’s the coolest thing in your house?
The fridge!
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever had?
Saying no pays off more than you think it does.
Who’s your all-time hero and why?
Big Jim Slade because he has a sexual appetite that knocks your socks off and he has satisfied women all over the world.
What do you collect – apart form records?
Vintage gear.
What’s your vice?
Slight impatience.
Who was your first love and what happened?
My hamster, unfortunately he died under mysterious circumstances.
What were you doing at 2pm last Sunday afternoon?
I was just having a shower in my hotel room in munich getting ready to be picked up to go to the airport.

What’s your most prized possession that you’ve still got from when you were a kid?
Memories.

Yes, with my alter ego.
What was your last treat for yourself?
skiing vacation with some friends.

clothes, wine and gadgets.

Music.
Do you have a recurring dream?
Me getting paid the same fee as david guetta. haha.
What would you change about yourself if you could?
I would love to stop dreaming about me getting Guetta's fee.
What’s the worst item of clothing you’ve ever worn?
Probably those super tight, pink jeans I used to wear in the 80s.
If you had a Tardis, what time would you go to?
I would travel to 2013 exact same day as today and come back straight away just to tell everybody that we and the planet are still going to be around by then and they can finally stop with their end of the world theories.
What’s your lamest claim to fame?
Being a DJ.
