SOUL CLAP EXPLAIN SOUL CLAP RECORDS

As we reported back in August, Soul Clap have set up Soul Clap Records.

The Brooklyn-based William Rauscher, better known as Night Plane, claims the label's first release through the 'Heartbeat EP' - which includes a Wolf+Lamb remix of 'Gates of Dawn' and a cover of Pavement's 'Gold Soundz'.

In the video interview below, Soul Clap explain how, for them, creating a label isn't merely a platform to release new music: "A label is about having a family, having a crew, having people you want to spend time with around you all the time."

The 'Heartbeat EP' is available now through Phonica Records UK and OYE Records Berlin.
