French, Italian, Spanish - the mélange of foreign languages floating in the air outside of Music Hall of Williamsburg did nothing to disguise the general excitement.
It was the debut performance of Darkside, Nicolas Jaar's collaboration with multi-instrumentalist Dave Harrington. The sold-out show seemed like a coronation for Jaar, the 21-year-old who had his breakthrough effort in 2011 with debut full-length Space Is Only Noise.
It's been a big year for Jaar, so needless to say it was a big gig. Check out all the images below.
