Peter Hook has revealed he wants Calvin Harris and David Guetta to produce 'mad commercial remixes' of New Order's hit single 'Blue Monday'.
The ex-New Order bassist unveiled his grand plans in a recent interview with The Observer, in which he compared trailblazing producer Arthur Baker to Calvin Harris and David Guetta.
Although the on-going feud between Hooky and his former New Order band-mates is showing no signs of subsiding, he wants to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their seminal hit 'Blue Monday' by getting the chart topping producers to release remixes.
'Blue Monday' was first released in March 1983, Hook said: "My dream for the 30th anniversary of 'Blue Monday' is for them all to do a mad commercial remix of it."
