NILE RODGERS TO MAKE ALBUM WITH MARK RONSON AND JOHNNY MARR?

Earlier in the week we reported that Nile Rodgers had proclaimed his work with Daft Punk as, as good as anything he's ever done and now it looks like he's readying another collaborative effort.

According to reports in today's Daily Star the Chic mainman is set to record with Mark Ronson and Johnny Marr.

Rodgers collaborated with the former Smiths guitarist at Parklife festival earlier this year and has known Ronson since he was a child.

Rodgers said, "I’ve known Mark since he was five years old, and bought him his first Walkman."

"The vibe between Mark and I is unbelievable. He told me and Johnny at a show recently that he grew up idolising our guitar styles, so maybe the three of us will do something together."

Check out our interview with Nile at Camp Bestival below and watch this space for more on his increasing number of collaborations.
