NICOLAS JAAR WINS ESSENTIAL MIX OF THE YEAR

American-Chilean DJ/producer Nicolas Jaar's Essential Mix has been voted the best of 2012 by Pete Tong and a panel of experts.

Jaar's 120 minute mix featured music from Aphex Twin, Ricardo Villalobos, Marvin Gaye, Beyonce unplugged and even Jay-Z playing a spot of golf.

The BBC said Nico's mix was "...bold, brave and timeless."

Jaar also included tracks from N*SYNC, Feist and his own album 'Space Is Only Noise'.
