A new arts project from the people behind Glastonbury's Shangri-La is set to take place in London next year.
The project, titled London Pleasure Gardens will take the form of a multi entertainment site with a capacity of 40,000.
The site is situated within the Olympic Red Zone and will transform the derelict Pontoon Dock in the London of borough of Newham into a destination for tourists and Londoners alike.
The London Pleasure Gardens will open over the Queens Jubilee Weekend from June 1 next year and although no events can be announced yet, at Mixmag we've heard a few rumours about some other exciting music events destined for the venue. Keep your eyes peeled for further announcements.
