LONDON PLEASURE GARDENS GOES INTO ADMINISTRATION

It is being reported that London Pleasure Gardens has been placed into administration.

It seems like it has been one thing after another for the London Pleasure Gardens. The ambitious plan to turn the run-down site on the Docklands into a thriving entertainment venue hasn't exactly gone to plan.

It all started when Bloc Festival was shut down last month amid safety fears and over-crowding and since then the electronic event has gone into administration.

Things went from bad to worse when the creative director of London Pleasure Gardens, Debs Armstrong, resigned stating that she didn't feel the venue was following the vision its managing team had set out.

These incidents have culminated in the venue going into administration today, as first reported by FACT.

A tweet earlier seemed to confirm the situation which has seen the status of the venue go from bad to worse.
