LISTEN TO RADIO 1'S ESSENTIAL MIX OF THE YEAR

Find out which got Essential Mix got selected as the best of 2012 by a panel of dance music experts last night.

In a shorter nomination list than previous years, mixes from Rustie, Lee Foss, Dusky, Nicolas Jaar and Calyx and Teebee were all in contention for the accolade.

This year also saw a change in the voting system, for in previous years the public decided but this year a panel of experts made the decision.
