Jessie Ware has been forced to change the words in the upcoming US release of '110%' after failing to gain clearance for the use of a Big Pun sample.
The south London vocalist uses the line "carvin' my initials on your forehead", taken from the Big Pun song 'The Dream Shatterer'.
In order to release the track in the US, Ware has changed the words to "coming on a mission like a warhead". The title of the track has also been altered, now taking the name 'If You're Never Gonna Move'.
Speaking to Billboard about the difficulties, Jessie Ware said: “We had to be imaginative and change the words. It’s annoying but it always happens.”
Her US-only 'If You're Never Gonna Move' EP is set for a January 15 release.
