Just so we're clear, this in no way represents Mixmag condoning the idea of ecstasy being responsible for a banging weekend. However, to coincide with the release of the film adaptation of Irvine Welsh's classic club novel, 'Ecstasy', we've got a fantastic prize for two lucky ravers.
Rob Heydon's version of Welsh's book hit's UK cinemas on April 20 and to mark the occasion we've got a VIP trip for two to Ibiza's opening weekend parties.
To stand a chance of winning a this trip of a life time, all you have to do is buy a ticket for the film's opening weekend, take a photo and post in on the 'Ecstasy' facebook page.
The sooner you get going, the more chance you stand of bagging the prize. Buying a ticket to the film's opening weekend (April 20-22) guarantees you 50 entries into the prize draw, with a ticket during the opening week getting you ten entries and a ticket to any showing getting you a single entry.
The film itself is a love story penned by Trainspotting author Welsh and charts the relationship of Lloyd and Heather, a couple involved in the Scottish rave scene.
"I was trying to write a classic love story," said the author. "When you put a story like that into that kind of social milieu, where there's all this crazy stuff going on, lot's of drugs, pumping music, it increases the jeopardy for the participants."
"Falling in love is a hazardous enough business, but when you put in that kind of environment it boosts it up into a whole new dimension," said Welsh. Check out the full video interview below, plus the track from Tiesto and Mark Knight, which features on the film's soundtrack.
