An exhibition charting the history of electronic music has opened at the Science Museum in London today.
The exhibition will run till Friday August 30 and feature the initial experiments of the 1950s right through to today's widespread use of digital music.
Highlights include Daphne Oram's (pictured above) groundbreaking oramics Machine, a unique instrument from the 1960s that could transform drawings into sound, and the first ever portable synth.
