FATBOY SLIM ON AN OLYMPIC OCTOPUS

No, it wasn't a dream. You really did see Norman Cook playing a set, albeit of two songs, on a giant inflatable octopus last night in the closing ceremony of the London Olympics.

Fatboy Slim was introduced by yet more trippy goings on, with Russell Brand's rendition of 'I Am The Walrus'. Norm danced his way through 'Right Here, Right Now' and 'Rockafeller Skank', along with a crowd of choreographed dancers, the 80,000 lucky ticket holders and an estimated global audience of 750 million.

Fatboy Slim recently also played the Mixmag DJ Lab, and talked us through the records that have inspired him throughout his long-standing career. The viewing numbers were similar.

Re-watch it below.
