Martyn is one of the most exciting artists currently working in the realm of underground dance music. His first LP 'Great Lengths' dropped in 2009 and proved his capabilities as a producer who can move seamlessly across the realms of house, two-step garage, dubstep and techno.
Now his sophomore effort is ready to be released and he's once again used a full length record to prove how adept he is at making crucial, cutting edge and highly danceable electronic music. 'Ghost People' comes out next Monday, October 10, and blends all that is good in the underground slipstream. Martyn fuses shuffling percussive rhythms, storming kick drums, irresistible synth riffs and wonderfully flexible basslines across 11 tracks for an LP that includes his best work yet and is definitely a contender for record of the year.
We've got an exclusive stream of 'Ghost People' ahead of its official release. Listen to the record in full below and read James Lawrence's 4/5 review of 'Ghost People' from the latest issue of Mixmag.
