EMI have launched a record label solely dedicated to dance music, called the EMI Dance Network.
The label, which was launched yesterday (March 28), will group together a host of dance music's biggest names already signed to EMI including Deadmau5, Swedish House Mafia and David Guetta.
The label, which is headed by EMI'S Bart Cools, is also charged with finding and breaking new dance music talent across the globe.
In other EMI news, the label have become a partner in David Guetta's latest venture, an agency named My Product Placement that aims to help record labels secure timely opportunities to place brands in videos.
