Deadmau5 has collaborated with prolific alt country singer Ryan Adams.
The DJ posted a picture of the pair working together in Deadmau5' studio to Instagram. (see below)
Adams is best known for producing the likes of Norah Jones and Willie Nelson and being a member of bands including The Cardinals and Whiskeytown.
While Adams may not seem a natural fit for arguably the world's biggest electronic music producer, Deadmau5 made it clear earlier this year that he had no interest in working with "some fucking dipshit blab about lookin sexy, poppin bottles, ‘dropping bass,’ or ANYTHING club related."
Adams took to Twitter to say: "Recording a track with my new pal @deadmau5 today, sounds like BladeRunner starring Don Henley."
It's not the first time Deadmau5 has gone to the rock world to seek out collaborations. His latest single 'Professional Grievers' is a joint effort with My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way.
