DAFT PUNK CONDOMS GO VIRAL BUT DUREX DENIES INVOLVEMENT

Daft Punk 'Get Lucky' Durex condoms have caused a stir on the internet over the last couple of days but the sexual health company has denied producing them.

Durex today told Mixmag in a statement: "The makers of Durex are aware of reports that Durex has launched Daft Punk branded condoms following their hit single ‘Get Lucky’.

"There is no Durex promotion or partnership with Daft Punk in the UK or any other markets and Durex are not posting free packs to the world’s top DJs as suggested."

Widely reported as fact across the web yesterday, the rumour stems from an Instagram photo this week posted by Diplo that now seems to be a possible prank. The photo shows a condom box with the 'Get Lucky' artwork and a logo closely resembling that of Durex. Is the Mad Decent man now knocking out bootleg johnnies for a laugh?!

It wouldn't be the first time Diplo has had a laugh and a joke.

Durex, who may or may not have just pulled off a highly elaborate PR stunt, added: "We do hope that by using Durex condoms the nation will continue to make sweet music together and have great sex."
