CALVIN HARRIS DOESN'T LIKE PROMOTIONAL 'GIMMICKS'

After having a huge year in the charts with hits such as 'We Found Love' and 'Sweet Nothing', Calvin Harris is now a big EDM player.

We reported recently that he wasn't happy with the "bottle popping and cheap synths" in electronic music and it turns out that's not all he's annoyed about.

In a recent interview with Reuters, Calvin showed his distaste for music critics that think he has 'sold-out':

"Critics don't buy albums, they're also almost 90 percent either failed musicians or they don't know better than anyone else. Also, I don't like them. What's the point of a critic?"

Not content with slamming 90% of critics he then went on to show his dismay about DJ's involved with advertising and sponsorship deals:

"I know these guys with their headphones and their logos and their gimmicks - you can take that route but I think it's just added pressure to uphold something."
