There's been a few digs at Avicii for a change in the Coachella set times, but he's calling it all "lies".
Organisers moved all the set times forward by 20 minutes, allegedly to ensure that Avicii’s set didn’t clash with Dre and Snoop over on the mainstage after requests from the Avicii team.
Feed Me wrote on Twitter: “Nice one to @Avicii for having everyone in the Sahara tents set times moved so he doesn’t have to compete with Snoop and Dr. Dre’s performance.”
Funkagenda replied: “It’s like when he tried to refuse to play at Deadmau5 show in SD unless his stage was as big as Joel’s. Disgraceful.”
Nero also vented their frustration on their Facebook page: "We were promised a night time slot when we accepted the offer to play. Moving us 20 minutes forward will result in the majority of our show being in the day light."
But Avicii tried to clear the air: “I’ve never refused to play anywhere, and at this specific show I was never complaining so watch where you get your info from.
"I don’t appreciate people making up lies about me.”
And he spoke directly to Feed Me and Funkagenda's criticism: "I just landed, this is the first I hear of any of this. This wasn't my decision so I don't know why you're attacking me personally.
"You should get your facts straight before posting blatant lies on Twitter."
Funkagenda replied: "Whatever dude. It doesn't bother me either way. Like anyone is gonna listen to me over you. I'm not gonna get into a row because there is too much of that shit going on these days. If it's not true then it's not true..."
And that was that.
