A-TRAK GOES HIP-HOP WITH 'LOOSIES'

A-Trak briefly returns to his hip-hop roots with a 22-track compilation 'Loosies,' to be released on his own Fool's Gold imprint on December 18.

The DJ might play mainstage electro when it comes to major festivals, but his roots in rap run deep, with a former stint as Kanye West's tour DJ and, more impressively, champion of the DMC World DJ Championships at the age of 15. 'Loosies' is a curatorial collaborations with Fool's Gold co-founder Nick Cathdubs.

'Loosies' will be released on a limited edition cigarette-shaped USB drive and features tracks from the likes of rappers Danny Brown, Araabmuzik, Jim Jones, Action Bronson, and Freddie Gibbs.
