WINTER MUSIC CONFERENCE 2013 GUIDE

Winter Music Conference 2013 is fast approaching and with the newly extended Ultra Music Festival, it's time to start party planning.

From Friday March 15 to Sunday March 24, Miami will be riddled with talent and saturated with the best DJs in the world, so we've listed our pick of all the best Winter Music Conference offerings, with three (sometimes four) parties and one under-the-radar rave every day.

Friday, March 15

  • Nervous at the Shelbourne Hotel (Day)

    • One of NYC’s most respected labels, Nervous Records, has a Made In Miami party with DJ Sneak and Oscar G spinning. Start your conference with some authentic tech house. Tickets here.

  • Thomas Gold and Boris at Space (Night)

    • One legend and one newly crowned superstar grace the decks at one of the city's biggest and best clubs. Maybe Thomas Gold will get a bit techy on the terrace while on his Fanfare World Tour? Tickets here.

  • Ryan Crosson, My Favorite Robot, Heidi & Nitin at Treehouse (Night)

    • A plethora of underground talent starts the conference at one of the most fitting venues. Tickets here.

  • Under the Radar: King Britt at Bardot (Night)

    • The prominent Philadephia-born DJ plays an extended live set for everyone making the early sojourn to Miami. Tickets here.

    Saturday, March 16

  • Datsik, Doctor P, and Flux Pavilion at the Shelbourne (Day)

    • Three of the biggest talents in the dubstep scene play at the Shelbourne pool. A must-see for any bass-head. Tickets here.

  • Anjunabeats Volume 10 Pool Party at The National Pool (Day)

    • One of the finest trance labels has a poolside throwdown with Mat Zo, Seven Lions, Norin & Rad, Andrew Beyer and Jaytech amongst others. Tickets here.

  • Ovum & Friends at Treehouse (Night)

    • Josh Wink, Cajmere, and Chris Malinchak among others play this awesome two room party hosted by Wink's legendary label Ovum. Tickets here.

  • Sharam at Mansion (Night)

    • One half of famed duo, Deep Dish headlines the massive Mansion, showcasing his label, Yoshitoshi. Tickets here.

  • Christian Smith, Pig & Dan, Marco Bailey at Beach Plaza Hotel (Day)

    • NYC promoter Basic brings its techno flavor to Miami, teaming up with the awesome label, Tronic. Tickets here.

  • Under the Radar:Chus & Ceballos at Space (Night)

    • The tribal kings throw one of their legendary In Stereo parties, with friends David Penn and Richie Santana also playing sets. Tickets here.

    Sunday, March 17

  • Zedd , Funkagenda, Alex Metric, Alvin Risk at Mansion (Night)

    • The German wunderkind plays his infectious electro for what is sure to be a wild night, with some hard-hitting guests. Tickets here.

  • Markus Schulz at Space (Night)

    • Miami resident and trance demi-God, the Coldharbour king will throw down a marathon set until 2pm. Tickets here.

  • Cadenza Showcase at WALL (Night)

    • Cadenza all-stars Reboot, Technasia and Michael Cleis play their sultry brand of tech house at the W Hotel. Tickets here.

  • Under the Radar: T.E.E.D and XXYXX at Bardot (Night)

    • Two very cool bookings at an intimate live music venue will make for a great party. Tickets here.

    Monday, March 18

  • Apollonia and Mobilee at Treehouse (Night)

    • Two of the finest deep house labels face off at Treehouse. Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom, Shonky (B2B2B), Anja Shneider, Sebo K and more will all play. Tickets here.

  • Reset Techno Party at Carlton Hotel (Day)

    • Some tough daytime techno played by Subfractal and David Gtronic among others. Tickets here.

  • Coldharbour Night at Dream (Night)

    • Markus Schulz’s label mates KhoMha, Arnej, Mr. Pit, Grube and Hovspeian and Kaeno all play sets and showcase the unique Coldharbour sound. Tickets here.

  • Under the Radar: The Three Kings of House Pool Party (Day)

    • David Morales, Tony Humphries, and Louie Vega will play a marathon of 90s house at the National Hotel pool. Tickets not available.

    Tuesday, March 19

  • Not Them Again at Electric Pickle (Night)

    • An exclusive set by Monika Kruse, along with Laura Jones, Yousef, and Gavin Herilhy, all at the amazing and intimate Electric Pickle. Tickets here.

  • Bingo Players Pool Party (Day)

    • Get your progressive house fix while poolside with everyone’s favorite Dutch duo, Bingo Players. Tickets here.

  • Mindshake and Minus at Treehouse (Night)

    • Mindshake label head Paco Osuna plays alongside label-mates Carlo Lio, Kabale Und Liebe, and Dela. Minus mainstays Matador and Hobo play sets, along with Tripmastaz, Julien Jeweil and Nsound. Tickets here.

  • Under the Radar: Red Blue Classic at Miami Beach Jewish Center (Night)

    • Watch DJs like Lee Foss, Ryan Crosson, MANIK, Oscar G and Matt Tolfrey play in a charity basketball game. Info here.

    Wednesday, March 20

  • Loco Dice and Marco Carola at Space

    • These two titans battle it out until 4pm on the Space terrace. One word: vibes. Tickets here.

  • DPA Showcase at Treehouse (Night)

    • Underground legends like Radio Slave, Kevin Saunderson, Luca Bacchetti, and Nina Kraviz play this Detroit party at Treehouse. Tickets here.

  • Hard Miami at Grand Central (Night)

    • A diverse line-up of massive electro acts including but not limited to A-Trak, RL Grime, Birdy Nam Nam and French Fries. Tickets here.

  • Diynamic Neon Nights at Nikki Beach (Night)

    • Solomun and his label crew debut the successful Neon Nights concept that was all the rage this season on Ibiza. Tickets here.

  • We Are All Friends Beach Party at The Raleigh Hotel (Day)

    • 8 amazing labels, like Skrillex's OWSLA and Brodinski's Bromance, team up for an epic party . Tickets here.

  • Under the Radar: Miami Deep at the Shelbourne Hotel (Day)

    • Deep house acts like Danny Daze, Maxxi Soundsystem, Huxley and Finnebassen play the perfect soundtrack to a poolside party during the heart of the conference. Tickets here.

  • John Digweed at Cameo (Night)

    • The Bedrock king along with notable guests Henry Saiz and Jozif play at Cameo for an Underground Sound of Miami launch party.  Tickets here.

  • Sasha aboard the Biscayne Lady (Day Cruise)

    • Hear Sasha play tracks from his new 'Involv3r' album on a yacht, alongside Cassy and James Teej. Tickets here.

  • Drumcode Showcase at Treehouse (Night)

    • Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Ida Engberg, and Nicole Moudaber take over Treehouse for arguably the best techno night of the conference. Tickets sold-out but available at door.

  • Under the Radar: Balance at Villa 221 (Night)

    • Jozif, Radio Slave, Nina Kraviz and Finnebassen all play this deep house party. Tickets here.

    Friday, March 22

  • No Sugar Added at Nikki Beach (Day and Night)

    • Marco Carola’s Music On label gets its own stage, along with Defected. Tickets here.

  • Pryda at Space (Night)

    • Eric Prydz plays a set as his Pryda alias, with Joris Voorn playing back-to-back with Nic Fanciulli for afterhours. Tickets here.

  • Richie Hawtin Presents ENTER at Mansion (Night)

    • Richie brings along Paco Osuna, Gaiser, and Hobo to present his Enter concept in Miami. Tickets here

  • Gareth Emery at The Raleigh Hotel (Day)

    • The trance kingpin plays with Funkagenda, Mord Fustang and Michael Woods. Tickets here.

  • Under the Radar: CLR Pool Party at National Hotel (Day)

    • Everyone’s favorite techno label showcases their best talent poolside. Tickets here.

  • Jacked at Mansion (Night)

    • The Dutch house poster boy and superstar DJ headlines one of Miami’s biggest clubs. Tickets here.

  • Get Lost at Electric Pickle (Day and Night)

    • Underground acts like Damian Lazarus, Carl Craig, Eats Everything, and Guti play the eighth annual legendary party. Tickets sold-out but available at door.

  • Never Say Never at SLS (Day)

    • Verboten, SpyBar, and Wavefront bring you massive acts like Sasha, Guy Gerber and Dusky. Tickets here.

  • Under the Radar: Get Physical vs Pets Recordings at Treehouse (Night)
