About Me

Mixmag Editor: I-ve been in the Mixmag fat controller seat since April 2007. While the gold-plated toilet I was promised in my interview has never materialised, I-ve still had a great time taking the re-branded Mixmag to even greater heights with fantastic photography, in-depth writing, upfront fashion and on-the-money news.

Previous to this position I-ve worked or written for loads of publications including Arena, The Guardian, SKY, The Face and The Sunday Times Style Magazine. I also edited men-s fashion magazine FHM Collections for two years.

After graduating from Newcastle-s Rezurrection as a teeny raver, I found my clubbing mojo at Pure in Edinburgh back in the early 90s. I-ve also worked as a DJ and musician for over a decade and have gone through a number of projects (and record labels) with varying degrees of success - including several tracks that have been both rated and (somewhat harshly) slated on the Mixmag reviews pages.
