SONY MDR-1RBT

Featuring a luxurious frame complete with a padded headband and spacious circum-aural ear cups, the MDR-1RBT’s ooze quality from the off. Comfortable yet firm, they also boast a snug reassuring fit - perfect for long listening sessions.

In the sound stakes, the MDR-1RBT’s perform as well as you’d expect from Sony flagship headphones. Fusing two 40mm HD drivers with trickery such as an S-Master Amplifier and a Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE), these headphones deliver rich, balanced sound. Comfortable with music from Skrillex to Beethoven, play tracks like Delta Heavy's Empire, and you'll find crystalline higher frequencies and weighty lows all working together to create a crisp natural soundscape. Unlike Dr Dre Beats that supercharge the top and bottom of the spectrum, these Sony’s are more faithful to your favourite tunes.

Complete with wireless and NFC capability, the MDR-1RBT’s are also compatible with Bluetooth enabled laptops and tablets as well as mobile phones such as the Sony Xperia. As simple as pressing and holding a button, once paired they can play around 30 hours of music before needing a charge.

Great for home listening and potentially good for gyming and commuting, Sony’s flagship headphones combine seriously impressive sound with clever tech and slick looks.
