VINTAGE YAMAHA PLUG-INS

Steinberg have released professional signal processing plug-ins based on Yamaha’s Virtual Circuitry Modeling (VCM) technology.

Designed to emulate the Japanese giant's analogue effects, the Yamaha Vintage Plug-in Collection comprises three groups of plug-ins: the Vintage Channel Strip, Vintage Open Deck and Vintage Stomp Pack.

The Vintage Channel Strip consists of several classic Yamaha hardware equalizers and compressors from the 1970s including the EQ 601, Compressor 260 and Compressor 276, whilst the Vintage Open Deck recreates the analog circuitry and characteristics of four legendary tape recorders, the Swiss ’70, Swiss ’78, Swiss ’85 and American ’70. The Vintage Stomp Pack rounds things off with classic 1980's modules such as the Dual Phaser, Yamaha Phaser and Max 100 phaser plus one Yamaha flanger and one wah-effect, which promise to give a definitive classic rock sound.

Each plug-in can be used in multi-instances and is compatible with VST 3, VST 2.4 and AU plug-in formats.

The effects are available to purchase through the Steinberg Online Shop separately, or all together in the Vintage Channel Strip bundle, which is EUR 379, including German VAT or GBP 320, including British VAT.
