Steve Jobs, former CEO of Apple has died.
After founding Apple Computers in the late 70's with Steve Wozniak, Jobs was fired from the company in 1985, only to return in 1996. Since then Apple has enjoyed massive success, with a string of products including the iMac, iPod, iPhone and more recently iPad making the company a favourite with creatives and one of the largest and most profitable companies in the world.
Jobs was partly responsible for revolutionizing the way we listen to music with the introduction of the iPod in 2001 and subsequently the iTunes Store in 2003.
Steve Jobs also found the time to co-found Pixar, the studio responsible for children hits such as Toy Story, Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc. After stepping down from his position on health grounds earlier this year, Jobs passed the reins to Tim Cook, who has led tributes on the Apple website.
Below is the famous "1984" commercial, that helped launch Apple into the public eye.
