As previously announced, Universal has unveiled further details of their Nightclubbing concept, reintroducing previously unavailable or deleted remixes from MK, Farley & Heller and Frankie Knuckles.

This project has been bubbling for the best part of 18 months, and features labels such as AM:PM, 4th and Broadway and Ten Records. The Association For Electronic Music (AFEM) has also been instrumental with their support of this project.

Rarities include Steve 'Silk' Hurley's remixes of Crystal Waters' 'Makin' Happy' and remixes of Montell Jordan's 'This Is How We Do It' from Todd Terry. And that's just the start: further investigation reveals tracks such as 4 Hero - 'Star Chasers' (four MAW mixes) and five Morales and Knuckles remixes of 'A Love Supreme' by Will Downing.

UMC A&R manager and lead archive digger for the project, Robin Jenkins says: "We're uncovering remixes from the original godfathers of the dancefloor, which sound just as fresh now as when they were originally played more than 20 years ago."

Ralph Moore and Matt Dixon of the AFEM Preservation and Heritage Committee, add, "AFEM's Heritage committee are extremely proud to be working on the Nightclubbing project with Universal. This classic catalogue looks set to reach a whole new audience."

House music legend Terry Farley adds: " Thanks to this continuing release of stone-cold killers, you won't need to spend a month's salary on Discogs to get in on the act!"
