Over the past half-decade The Hydra has established itself as one of the country’s finest party institutions. The promoter is set to embark on its fifth season of parties next month, marking its biggest year yet.

A number of the world’s best DJs are due to play, with multiple London venues, Manchester’s Store Street and Osea Island just off the Essex coat serving as hosts.

Mano Le Tough kicks things off with an all night long set at South London spot The Colombian on August 26, before Blueprint invite techno heavyweights such as Ben Klock, Jeff Mills, DVS1, Regis and James Ruskin to play Studio Spaces E1 on the Sunday of that bank holiday weekend.

Audion, Matrixxman and Moire will helm the booth at Village Underground on October 22, Michael Mayer holds down Phonox on November 6, and Dixon and Âme head up a night at Troxy on November 13.

Theo Parrish, Ben UFO, Bonobo and Floating Points will all perform all night long sets at Studio Spaces E1 across October and November. The East London club then invites Dimensions through its doors on November 26, curating a bill featuring Moodymann and Moritz Von Oswald.

Two parties take place on December 2, with a Numbers showcase at Bussey Building and fabric taking over Studio Spaces E1.

The season closes on December 16 with The Hydra joining forces with Warehouse Project and heading up to Manchester’s mighty Store Street venue with Richie Hawtin, Objekt, Shanti Celeste, Andrew Weatherall, Daniel Avery and more.
