The Akai Professional MPC Touch is coming

Akai Professional has upped the levels with the latest product in its MPC series.

The MPC Touch brings a 7" multi-touch display to the music production tool, allowing you to do anything from dragging waveforms and chopping samples to adding effects with your fingertips.

That's not the only feature worth shouting about, though, with 16 velocity-senstive MPC pads, a step sequencer with touch interface and an instrument-connecting phrase looper among the extensive list.

You won't be short of audio options, either, with 20GB available to you, one of many things leading to the company labelling it as the best product it's ever released.

"Our new MPC Touch is an incredibly noteworthy event in the evolution of the Akai Professional product lineup. Years of research, customer feedback and cutting-edge engineering development has led directly to the most capable and innovative MPC we've ever offered."

Pick it up for £499 from November and head here for more information and images.
