First Deadmau5 joins the Family Guy game, now Chinese developers NetEase have confirmed Steve Aoki will appear as a playable character in their new mobile game Speedy Ninja.

The EDM superstar's character comes complete with a microphone sword and Dim Mak cakes to launch at enemies.

Aoki will be unlockable throughout October, and will remain in the game indefinitely once downloaded.

Aoki shared his thoughts: "The first time I saw my character I was totally blown away by the design. The NetEase game team nailed it!"

"I love the flowing hair, the cakes, and even the inflatable rafts; all those elements that are unique to my show. I can't wait for my fans to check it out!"

This isn't Aoki's first appearance in a video game, having been a featured celebrity player on 2K Sports' titles NBA 2K9 and NBA 2K10, despite admitting his lack of basketball ability. Details on his real life ninja capabilities are currently unconfirmed.

Speedy Ninja is available for free now via the App Store or Google Play.
