Spotify announced at IMS Ibiza that it will now be able to stream artist mixes.

The agreement with Dubset, a music distribution brand that works to create monetization opportunities for producers and DJs, means those creating the mixes and the artists included will receive revenue.

Stephen White of Dubset said: “This is a major milestone for DJs and music fans all over the world. Our technology platform makes it possible for us to identify and pay rights holders in DJ mixes, making this enormously popular music genre available on the world’s most popular streaming service for the very first time."

With the application's technology, Spotify also hopes it will be able to provide full track IDs and listings for any mix and give users a whole new supply of curated content.
