FYF 2015 took place in Los Angeles over the weekend of August 22 and 23 at the LA Sports Arena and Exposition Park. The festival extended its curfew to 2am and filled downtown with thousands of people for two very full days of music.
On day one, the air of the festival mostly revolved around Kanye West, who took over the main stage for a couple of self-indulgent hours. Elsewhere, Canadian producer and former Mixmag cover-star Kaytranada filled the massive arena to capacity with some hip hop vibes, and later on Jon Hopkins took everyone on a bizarre, eclectic journey.
Closing out The Lawn stage on Sunday night was FKA Twigs as her haunting, captivating self. Indoors,The Arena was booming with a much stronger day-two schedule including Dixon, Nicolas Jaar and Evian Christ.
