New study shows EDC is the most popular for MDMA and Coachella for cocaine
A new study shows the drugs that are most popular at festivals around the world.
Carried out by DrugAbuse.com, 15 festivals were part of the research, with results being compiled through posts about alcohol and drugs on Instagram.
Out of 3,622,365 posts analysed, it was found that 42.99% mentioned MDMA at Electric Daisy Carnival (pretty unsurprising, really), 12.39% related to cocaine at Coachella, with 69.01% talking about booze at Glastonbury.
LSD and mushrooms both topped the Burning Man charts with 5.64% and 7.42% respectively. Not much of a shock with the 'place-to-find-yourself' desert fest.
