Ableton Live co-developer and Monolake member Robert Henke will perform a one-off show in Melbourne later this year.

As part of Melbourne Music Week, the German artist will present 'Lumière II', an exploration of sound and lasers, at the city's Recital Centre on November 19. The show experiments with tone, colour, shape and movement using a piece of software written by Henke to link sound and vision.

The performance is the first to be announced as part of Melbourne Music Week 2015, with the full festival program to be unveiled October 7.

Robert Henke performs 'Lumière II' at the Melbourne Recital Centre on November 19. Tickets are on sale now through the MMW website.
