New app will help you get a festival date

The 1960s summer of love was a revolutionary moment in history, full of freedom and sexual experimentation. Now in 2015 we could have another summer of love brewing, but this time it's because we can swipe through overly filtered pictures on our phones with a festival dating app.

Glance is a new app from a Dutch start-up launched this month. With the official slogan 'Glance before you dance', it targets music festivals across the world.

Users can choose which festivals they are going to so the app can match the up against potential partners. Then, just like Tinder, you swipe right for someone you like at the events you are attending.

Speaking about Glance, app designer Jeron Jochems said: "Glance connects you to likeminded people attending the same festivals and club nights as you. If someone likes you back it's a match and you could go together. Bye bye awkward dates with people you have nothing in common with. Hello event driven dating."
