Fur Coat have been churning out mystical house and techno since 2011 and it all really started when Damian Lazarus gave the duo the seal approval by signing them to Crosstown Rebels.

Although some of their biggest tracks including 'Space Ballad', 'You and I' and 'U Turn' all dropped on the imprint, the Venezuelans' sound can be heard on Hot Creations, bPitch Control and Balance Music.

Whatever style of dance music they create, it's always of a high standard and their latest creation is some of their most refined work to date. Coming via Sasha's ever-impressive Last Night on Earth label, Fur Coat will release the 'Katarsis' EP on Christmas Day.

Talking about the record, the duo said:

"It's a very techno EP, although it keeps the mysterious and dark vibes, especially on the drops. This ep has been the product of continuous experimenting with sounds, and we've continued to evolve our sound without loosing our essence and our stamp."

We've got the premiere of 'Hoverboard' a day before it's released worldwide, and you can expect chugging percussion, ominous low-end snarls and space-age chords, all of which fit into the Fur Coat folder of sounds nicely.

For more of Last Night On Earth, you can catch Sasha all night long on NYE at Electric Brixton where he'll be playing alongside Matt Tolfrey and Jonas Rathsman, tickets here
