Frank Ocean's new album will arrive this Friday

The highly-anticipated 'Boys Don't Cry' may be coming soon

It seems as though the entire world has been awaiting Frank Ocean's 'Boys Don't Cry' album, which he first announced back in 2013.

The follow-up album to his Grammy-winning 'Channel Orange' is said to release this Friday (August 5) through an exclusive deal with Apple Music. In addition, the LP will also arrive with a "major video" and print element.

The information was shared by an anonymous source, but seems to align with the fact that an unexplained video showing two benches appeared on the 'Boys Don't Cry' website at the top of this week. The video has since been removed, but viewers noticed an Apple Music watermark.

The wait for Frank Ocean's album has consistently deviated from previous thoughts about potential release dates (which mostly have referred to this "library card" list of dates originally shared by the singer), so it remains to be seen if Friday will actually be the day the world receives 'Boys Don't Cry'.

Fingers crossed.
