Audio Bullys announce come back tour with free download

After a three year break Audio Bullys are back and have announced a UK tour in March 2010 UK tour.

Simon Franks and Tom Dinsdale made an album last year but decided to scrap it as the last minute (we heard it, scraping it was a wise move). Since then they've gone back to the drawing board under a new label.

An early taster for that third album can be downloaded for free from audiobullys.com in the shape of ‘Kiss The Sky’.

Tickets for all dates go on sale at 9am on Friday December 18. March dates and ticket details are as follows: Monday 8 Sheffield, Academy 2, Tuesday 9 Nottingham, Rescue Rooms, Wednesday 10 Oxford, Academy, Thursday 11 Manchester, Moho Live, Friday 12 Crewe, The Box, Saturday 13 Glasgow, King Tuts, Monday 15 Bristol, Thekla, Tuesday 16 London, Scala, Wednesday 17 Birmingham, Academy 2, Thursday 18 Cambridge, The Junction, Friday 19 Margate, The Westcoast, Saturday 20 Brighton, Concorde 2

Forget Rage Against the Machine - download FM Belfast's cover free instead

The fight for xmas number one is an interesting one this year with a huge internet campaign attempting to get Rage Against the Machines 'Killing In The Name Of' to number one instead of Joe MacWhatsit from X Factor.

All very well but we thought instead of filling Sony's pockets this yuletide (they own both tracks) why not have Icelandic electro pop group, FM Belfast's, cover of the RATM track for free instead.

The band have kindly given us and the track for you to download for free here. We hope you like it as much as we do.

International Music Summit back in Ibiza for 2010

As the snow falls over the UK it's a great time to tell you the International Music Summit (which should really have the word 'dance' in there somewhere) is back in Ibiza from Friday May 28, 2010.

This will be the third IMS and will again be held at the 5* Ibiza Gran Hotel and will feature workshops and sessions throughout the day and record label showcases in the evening.

It was at IMS 2009 that Hawtin told the delegates they were lying when stating that they felt they were in touch with their audience. And 19-year-old Callum Negus Fancey from the under-age Let's Go Crazy brand spectacularly declared his audience had 'never heard of Paul Oakenfold'.

Full event and hotel packages are limited, and expected to sell out well in advance. The total cost of a delegates badge is €370 which includes a 5* buffet lunch throughout the conference with special packages at the hotel on sale from today.

Clever new internet radio search engine launches today

A new website has launched today that is a source for loads of music that is hard to get elsewhere, often mixed live by DJs across the world.

radiotuna.com is an online radio search engine that gives better results and is easier to use than any other site. In its 'Dance' section, there's about 40 sub-genres. The site takes pride in not just lumping all house and techno into one category, they're all catered for separately.

If you search for an artist that happens to be playing right now, they’ll tell you and you can connect straight to that station. If your choice isn’t playing right now, they’ll tell you which stations are most likely to play them next.

The site was set up by three mates in Brighton who love internet radio, but found it too hard to find new stations. "We thought searching radio should be easier (we like easy stuff), and we also felt we were missing out on great stations, so we built RadioTuna."

DIPLO MIXES '2009 REWIND' MIXMAG'S BEST OF 2009 COVER CD

Diplo was everywhere in 2009, whether it was standing beside Switch as Major Lazer or destroying dancefloors with his DJing and solo productions. So it was only good 'n’ proper that Mixmag should ask him to put together our end of year cover CD, ‘2009 Rewind’.

And what a magnificent rewind it is. Diplo cuts, scratches and mixes his way through last year’s anthems such as Prodigy’s ‘Invaders Must Die’, Chase and Status’ ‘Eastern Jam’ and the Major Lazer masterpiece, ‘Pon De Floor’. It's an absolute classic which begs the question...how the hell are we gonna better that next year?

To get a taste of it you can download the first three tracks in this minimix below...

01.    Major Lazer feat VYBZ Kartel & Afrojack, ‘Pon De Floor’
02.    Amanda Blank, ‘Something Bigger, Something Better’
03.    L-VIS 1990, ‘United Groove’ (MJ Cole mix)

To download:
- go to internetgateway.wamnet.com
- username: sonicguest
- password: Diplo09
- go to 'Receive' on the top right
- use the green arrow under 'Actions', to the right of the package, to collect the package
