Our cover star takes a ride on the Myspace bus

MySpace have announced their MySpace Bus will appear at this year’s Camden Crawl on Saturday 25th April.

Music fans will have the chance to get up close and personal with our very own cover star Little Boots (left) along with Kasabian, Frankmusik and VV Brown, among others.

The Camden Crawl is a mile-long stretch of 40 venues in London with 150 artists on April 24th and 25th.

Passion Pit re-schedule cancelled London show

The Boston five piece band, Passion Pit, are very busy men.

They are in our May issue (out now so go buy it), and now have re-scheduled their London show.

Following the cancellation of their May tour, Passion Pit have given us a new date.

They will be joining Rob Da Bank and Ebony Bones at the ‘Rob Da Bank and friends’ event at London’s Heaven on 1st July.

Sonar 2009 add new artists to line-up

Sónar music festival in Barcelona has announced more acts to join the already impressive line- up on 18th- 20th June.

The acts confirmed are Carl Craig/ Luomo/ James Murphy & Pat Mahoney (LCD Soundsystem disco set)/ Jeff Mills/ Bomb Squad/ Ben Frost and Omar Souleyman.

The UK’s first student only boutique festival is back for 2009 with a monster line up and revamped sea side site.

Standon Calling Line-Up Revealed

Standon Calling have announced their line-up for the 3000 capacity festival in Hertfordshire on Friday 31st July.

Femi Kuti, Ladytron and Tony Christie headline an eclectic mix of live acts and DJs. Full line-up is in the comments below.

Tickets are £89.50 for a weekend camping ticket, and the theme for this year is 'Space' - which we're guessing means 'the final frontier' rather than 'the club in Ibiza.'

Homecoming Festival Cancelled

The Homecoming Festival, which was due to take place Saturday 2 May and Sunday 3 May in Irvine in Scotland, has been cancelled.

The organisers have released the following statement:

“It is with great regret that organisers of the Homecoming festival have announced that this year’s event has been cancelled.

This is due to new demands from the council requesting 50% of the profits and a £60,000 bond on the land.

All ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund, and arrangements are currently being made to organise new venues and dates for some of the artists that were scheduled to perform at Homecoming 09.

New details will be revealed on www.homecomingfestival.com as soon as possible.”

Diddy to be in a movie

Mixmag cover star P Diddy has taken on another acting role.

The producer/ rapper will star alongside Jonah Hill, Russell Brand, and Rose Byrne.

The film, which is titled ‘Get Him to the Greek’, is about a record-company intern who is introduced to “a life of hookers and blow”.

Diddy will, of course, feature somewhere in the thick of that.

Hot Chip search for support act

Simon Cowell can take a running jump as Hot Chip have now got their very own talent competition.

The band is hoping to find some new talent to perform alongside them at an exclusive event in London on 4th of June.

Mr C heads to L.A and the big screen

After 20 years of causing a stir in London, club hero Mr. C has plans to move to Los Angeles in September.

What’s more, he’s heading to the movie industry and already has a few "projects" in the offing.

He says, “It’s time for a big change, I think I’ve done all I can in London and Europe.”

DJ Craze and DJ Klever showcase the new traktor scratch duo

Tiësto gig in Victoria Park

Tiësto will play in Victoria Park, this summer, 31st July.

Staging his own one day festival, Tiësto will be previewing brand new tracks from his upcoming album.
