Who: Fanu, real name Janne Hatula, who is a drum 'n' bass DJ/ producer from Finland with a huge passion for breakbeats and syncopated rhythms. Fanu also runs a small label called Lightless Recordings.
Why: The album was out last year, and since then Fanu did a remix for Amon Tobin which came out on the Amon Tobin box set in May. His latest 'Coffee Crazy EP' is out now. Get it here. There was even a coffee shop that wanted to use one of the tracks on it on their little video and they paid him in coffee beans!
About the track The track pays homage to early Good Looking Records' stuff, which had a huge impact on his musical style.
