Gaudi is a full time internationally touring solo artist, a studio producer in demand and a respected musical innovator. In a career that spans over thirty years, he's had chart hits, gold discs and awards & nominations for his work; he has released 12 solo albums, has more than 250 productions and 90 remixes to his name and his tracks feature on more than 120 compilations. Gaudi's innovative approach to live performance and versatility as a producer has kept him at the forefront of his field throughout a notable and prolific career. His music is stylistically hard to pin down as he is an artist in constant evolution. His musical exploration, over the last 30 years in the industry, has however seen him foray into punk, new wave, dub and reggae, world, experimental electronica and 'stuff that rocks dancefloors'. He has however got deep roots, which run like a vein throughout his music, and they are big basslines, the spacious soundscapes of dub and the anarchic sonic potential of the world of electronic music.

This latest compilation from Iboga Records is an impressive collection of largely new and unreleased tracks from an international group of artists who have defined, not only a genre but an era in electronic music. Everlasting is 2 hours of immaculately produced and sonically stimulating deep moody electro.
Everlasting is not a roller coaster of a compilation that takes you all over the place in its quest to cover all bases, but an expertly crafted showcase of mid tempo electronic music at its best and it plays like an album rather than a comp … you might think that getting so many ‘heavyweights’ together in one place might not necessarily make for a coherent collection – as by their individual natures they are used to standing out and pulling their own line with their music… however, the selection and mix is artful and common threads in the tracks have fused seamlessly to make a double CD worthy of note – not just a list of quality artists but an album that emerges to be greater than the sum of it’s parts and which delivers to the listener a smooth, deep and cohesive sonic experience.
