When you're recognised as a rising talent of the German techno scene, you must be doing something right and Hamburg-based producer Etnik has even got the nod of approval from Skrillex.
Signed to the American's OWSLA/Bitclap label, the youngster's brand of driving, glitchy techno has influenced support coming from Zombie Nation and TWR72 while he's previously paired up with Boys Noize protégé SCNTST for the release of 'Scanner'.
'Neon Daze', the title track from his forthcoming EP on OWSLA/Bitclap, sees him brilliantly employ the use of retro computer game-sounding effects, building up to an intimidating buzz in the midst of haunting whispers and clashing symbols.
The 'Neon Daze' EP is out on November 19 and the premiere can be listened to below.
