Now here's a label that has 'sound of 2014' written all over it and with one of the most hyped rosters in the world right now ClekClekBoom are cruising on an upward incline.
With the likes of French Fries, Bambounou, Manare, Coni and NDSOS all releasing forward thinking and eclectic bass music, the imprint is in fine form. Their regular Boomcasts have featured guests such as Ron Morelli, Laurent Garnier and of course the ClekClek regulars.
Next up on the label and opening up proceedings for 2014 is newcomer Saudi Arabian born Aleqs Notal. He decided to 'gather some magical dust and throw it in our ears' and with his influences coming from the sounds Detroit and Chicago, this is the type of magic we don't mind a sprinkle of.
We have the premiere of 'Informal Utility' and with its dreamscape-like synths, flurries of 909 claps and driving kick drums this is one that will send any crowd into a state of deep euphoria.
