Following the launch of EMI Music's 'Electrospective' campaign, Richie Hawtin, John Acquaviva and John Fox have been interviewed regarding the current state of modern dance music.
'Electrospective' was created to celebrate the historic development of electronic music, from its humble beginnings in 1958 in the BBC Radiophonic Workshop to modern-day superstars like Deadmau5 and David Guetta.
Hawtin states that, "Every pop record over the last ten years has become more and more 'electronified', and I think that's desensitised the people of America and now we're finally ready."
